About Bannister Farm Dairy
David Monk is the fourth generation to farm alongside his wife Emma and two children Jack and Kate. The milk rounds remain as essential to the farm as ever and the support throughout Parbold and Hilldale is testament that people still place a value on local produce.
Our milk is processed by Bates Dairy in Southport. The Bannistree Herd is a closed herd that has won pedigree awards across Lancashire including first prize for Best Heifer and Best Dairy Herd in Lancashire. The cows are set out to graze for roughly six months of the year – sometimes longer, weather permitting!
Two small free range hen cabins house 450 birds each with over seven acres of land to roam freely. The eggs have proved extremely popular largely due to their freshness – laid one day and delivered the next.
The family run business has expanded over the years and supplies doorsteps, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, care homes and local businesses. With your support Bannister Farm Dairy will supply milk for generations to come.
